Analysis of the adaptive climate financing in Indonesia

We assessed the extent to which CSOs and communities, particularly women, received sufficient, adequate, and locally led adaptation finance.

We examined: 

1. The needs of climate-vulnerable communities in Indonesia for adaptation to climate change, and increasing loss and damage due to slow progress on mitigation and adaptation.
2. The quantity and quality of climate financing both domestically and internationally (bilaterally and multilaterally).
3. Challenges and gaps for CSOs and communities in accessing climate funds for both mitigation and adaptation.
4. Recommendations for adequate and equitable climate finance in Indonesia by using a feminist lens.
