  • BA - Social Anthropology, University of Indonesia, Indonesia.

Research Experience

  • Conducted participatory and ethnographic research on and with environmental defenders, civic spaces, and intersectionality in the context of climate change mitigation in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, including fieldwork on geothermal development in Flores and nickel mining on a small island in Southeast Sulawesi.
  • Supported qualitative coding for a research on just energy transition in North Maluku’s nickel mining area.
  • Supported the data collection process for a research on equitable benefits sharing and feminist political ecology in landscape governance in Indonesia.

Research Interest

  • I am interested in the intersections of environmental anthropology and political ecology, with particular attention to energy transition, extractive industries, climate governance, and environmental justice.
  • Building on fieldwork across diverse regions of Indonesia, I am developing an emerging research interest in the social and environmental dynamics of rural, Indigenous, and small island communities.
  • I specialise in qualitative research, particularly ethnographic research and feminist participatory action research (FPAR).
  • My past research has explored the politics of climate and energy transitions, participatory research methodologies, care and social reproduction, community responses to nickel mining and geothermal development, and the implementation of Indonesia's maternal and child health programmes, particularly around exclusive breastfeeding and maternal health.
