- governance
- land-use change
My research interests include forest policy and governance, community forestry policy, forest certification and legality verification, and forest tenure. I am currently working on environmental justice in the context of European Union Timber Regulations and FLEGT with the University of East Anglia.
I use my extensive consulting experience, especially on forest policy and policy networks in Indonesia, having conducted assessments and reviews concerning community forestry, timber legality, and forest governance.
Current and recent projects
My recent publications focus on timber legality and community forestry. I am especially interested in how national trade policies, influenced by global actors, affect different actors within the Indonesian production and policy networks.
