Research
I have a broad interest and experience in social research related to gender, such as participatory planning & budgeting, gender in disaster management and climate change, forestry, and natural resource management. I am also involved in collaborative research on gender in peace-building, women's economic empowerment, social inclusion and disability.
Consulting
I have more than 21 years of development experience and with evaluations for several development organizations such as UNWomen, CAFOD, Oxfam Indonesia, including project related to forestry such as RFN, Setapak-The Asia Foundation and TFCA Kalimantan. I worked as a gender consultant for various development organisation such as UNWomen, UNFPA and ADB as well as government such as Bappenas & MoWE.
Affiliations
I am a founding member of the SRI Institute, research and education institution for gender issues related to economic empowerment, climate change and disaster, women’s leadership and agency, digital technology, sexual and reproductive health rights, policies and budgets and other intersection issues such as social inclusion. In analyzing social phenomena, the perspective of gender equality and justice developed by SRI INSTITUTE rests on the elaboration of authentic and distinctive subject local narratives.
